supposedly this program helps you record your OFP battles. thing is I
once heard that it only records like 30 seconds or so. I understand how
big recorded files must be but isnt there anything out there that
records longer than 30 seconds?I mean even 10minutes or so.

I have fraps, and you can record certainly longer than 30 secs. I've
made some 20 or 30 minutes movies here. Expect it will have some effect
your framerate though.

Fraps new versions can record very long. No limit, only your hard drive is the limit. Also the newer
versions, your framrate does not get affected any more. It used to with old version, but fraps 2.8.0
is great and works fine, no problems here...

The free version of FRAPS allows a maximum of 30 seconds recording,
although this may be hackable.

The paid version allows unlimited recording.
